University Library System
The Library System has general functions of coordination, care and promotion of the development of services, with particular attention to digital and technological innovation. Library services are organized in a University Library System (SBA) consisting of:
- Council of the University Library System , a steering and planning body.
The Council has jurisdiction in the following areas:

- Open Access
The Council promotes and suggests the implementation of synergies between the University libraries and their constant development, through technical investigations and studies aimed at innovation and also qualitative improvement of services, making use of the consultancy of the competent technical bodies of the University.
- 6 libraries of Economic, Legal, Humanistic Areas and Scientific Libraries (Agriculture, Medicine and Motor Sciences), which meet the training and research needs of the various Departments and scientific areas and which, together with the Study Rooms, offer approximately 350 seats and provide the following services:
- reading and consultation;
- loan;
- interlibrary loan;
- document delivery;
- bibliographic research;

Each library has the purpose of taking care of the acquisition, conservation and making available to the public of the widest scientific production in the sector in which it operates, as well as taking care of the dissemination of bibliographic information. It represents a service and bibliographic reference center for the users of teachers, researchers, students and for all other interested parties.

Through the central services provided online and those provided by individual libraries, the Library System organizes and makes available a documentary heritage estimated at: over 100,000 volumes, 780 subscriptions to paper periodicals, approximately 4,300 electronic periodicals, 17 online databases.
Currently the library staff consists of 18 units assigned to the Libraries Area coordinated by the Area Manager.
The book collection held by the system's libraries is entirely searchable online through the University OPAC as well as the SBN OPAC.
